Back to Africa

I am finalizing the arrangements for my next trip at the moment. This is a big one, originating in Malaga, Spain in mid-November and arriving in Nairobi, Kenya at the end of March. 20+ weeks in length, this is one of the great overlanding trips in the world. The trip highlights include: Morocco (Fez and Casablanca), crossing the Sahara Desert, traveling through Western Africa and Central Africa, and if all goes well visiting Ethiopia on the way. I say "if all goes well" because this is a much more fluid trip: there is no real itinerary to follow, and the course of the trip is governed more by political climates and stability than any other factor. That is what makes this trip more adventurous: there is a set start date and place and an end date and place. Everything else is more up in the air.

I'll post more as the date of departure nears.
